Michelle Freedberg (the suburban mom) — Michelle has been in the heart of the baby business for over 10 years. Owning her own Bellini store in Stamford, CT and high-end online baby boutique, the bean’s closet, Michelle has her finger on the pulse of what’s hot in the world of baby fashion, gear and design. In her spare time (that’s definitely a joke) Michelle is a family therapist in Bergen County, NJ, where she also resides. She is a mom to the amazingly delicious and gorgeous little bean, Stella Chase, and of course her ever loyal soft coated Wheaton Terrier, Eloise. Michelle is married to Craig (for seven years of marital bliss), and they are expecting their second child in Feb 2010 (love those February babies). New babies bring great new finds, so stay tuned!
Rachel Milston (the urban mom) — Rachel is the mom of two adorable beastie boys, Jesse Levin and Harris Leigh. She began her career in marketing at Random House and Sony, and was the Marketing Manager at an online printing company for 3 years. After giving birth to Jesse in 2005, and working up to the day she went into labor, she decided to take some time off. Rachel is now in charge of marketing/promotions and product development for the high-end online baby boutique, the bean’s closet. She and her husband, Arthur, live in Manhattan. When she is not scooting around the city with her family, (the farmer’s market is her favorite place on earth) she makes sure to spend a few hours a week spinning around the pole at S Factor (definitely our resident wild child). Rachel is our in house editor (she will catch a misspelling anywhere/anytime) and our NYC trend spotter. From the newest designers to the best baby hot spots, Rachel is constantly looking for the next best baby find.
